SNOW IN LONDON

The snow began falling last night...it was beautiful!

At the crack of dawn the kids wanted to get out into that snow.  We held off until after breakfast.  It takes quite a bit of digging to get all the winter stuff out of closets and boxes.  First task was to make snowmen, in our courtyard.  Our neighbor Jules joined in the fun.  He lives across from us; he is French but his family has been in London for over 3 years.  He and Josh are the same age and have fun together!

This is the snow man that Dave made!

Ally made this snowgirl all on her own

Josh and Jules' creation (they called it Mr. Penguin)

After all the fun making snowmen, we decided to head over to Primrose Hill Park, where we have heard lots of people go sledding when there is snow.  Well I guess!!  We could hear the squeals and screaming from a block away.  The masses were there.  It was a full-blown snow party!  Lots of families we knew, fun times, and only one problem was we had no sleds....to our delight some neighbors were leaving and asked if we wanted to use their three sleds...do we ever!!!???

Terrible that we don't have Grandma and Grandpa VanAmber's toboggan here in London....

Messy, sloppy, wet, slushy but so much fun SNOW!!!

  1. I think we have traded weather -- you're getting the snow and here it's 40 degrees -- finally sunny today, otherwise it's been foggy and dreary!! Crazy. Thanks for the photos!!!
